Baltic birch cabinetThe SUB 9006-AS is one of the most powerful 2x18-inch subwoofers in the live sound industry. It features two high-power, ultra-ventilated 18-inch neodymium magnet woofers with 4.0-inch voice coils, delivering a powerful low-frequency response. Driven by a 7200-watt digital amplifier, the SUB 9006-AS operates stably even in the most demanding environments. Its cabinet design perfectly matches the HDL50-A and HDL10-A array systems, allowing for easy construction of modular subwoofer systems. The amplifier integrates a low-noise 32-bit DSP circuitry, controlled via the proprietary RDNet network, easily handling soft clipping, RMS limiting, polarity, amplitude, timing, and EQ. All settings, monitoring, and advanced functions are available in the RDNet network management software. The rear control panel adjusts input sensitivity, low-cut, crossover, volume, bypass, delay, and preset selection. A regulated power supply ensures ample power delivery within a 100V to 260V voltage range. The 18-inch neodymium magnet woofer is designed to deliver the purest, most powerful, and least distorted low-frequency reproduction. The cone is composed of 30% carbon fiber, 20% glass fiber, and 50% cellulose pulp. This special chemical composition has been carefully developed to enhance the cone's robustness and rigidity, preventing any deformation that could lead to efficiency loss. 4.0-inch inner and outer voice coils are wound around a robust glass fiber skeleton, ensuring more efficient heat dissipation. The skeleton is reinforced both internally and externally with Nomex material, enhancing overall structural rigidity and enabling better energy transfer between the voice coil and the cone body. To dissipate the heat generated by the powerful voice coil, engineers developed a unique ultra-ventilation system with extremely low power compression. The cone is waterproof. Parameter
