The SUB 9007-AS is one of the most powerful 2x21-inch subwoofers in the live sound industry. It features two high-power, ultra-ventilated 21-inch neodymium magnet woofers with 6.0-inch voice coils, delivering a powerful low-frequency response. Driven by a 7200-watt digital amplifier, the SUB 9007-AS operates reliably even in the most demanding environments. Its cabinet design is perfectly matched with HDL 50 and HDL 20 array systems, enabling ideal combinations for stacked systems.

The built-in amplifier incorporates a low-noise 32-bit DSP circuitry, controlled via the proprietary RDNet network, easily handling soft clipping, RMS limiting, polarity, amplitude, timing, and EQ. All settings, monitoring, and advanced functions are available in the RDNet network management software. The rear control panel adjusts input sensitivity, low-cut, crossover, volume, bypass, delay, and preset selection. A regulated power supply ensures ample power across a voltage range of 100V to 260V. The amplifier is mounted on a unique Vibrostop floating aluminum panel for added protection during transport.

The 21-inch neodymium magnet woofer is designed to deliver the purest, most powerful, and least distorted low-frequency reproduction. The cone is composed of 30% carbon fiber, 20% glass fiber, and 50% cellulose pulp. This special chemical composition has been carefully developed to enhance the cone's robustness and rigidity, preventing any deformation that could lead to efficiency loss. 6.0-inch inner and outer voice coils are wound around a robust glass fiber skeleton for more efficient heat dissipation. The skeleton is reinforced both inside and out with Nomex material, enhancing overall structural rigidity and resulting in better energy transfer between the voice coil and the cone body. To dissipate the heat generated by the powerful voice coil, engineers developed a unique ultra-ventilation system with extremely low power compression. The cone is waterproof.
